What is Pickleball Noise Relief?
Pickleball Noise Relief is a grassroots support network dedicated to addressing the issue of excessive noise from pickleball courts. We aim to inform, educate, and empower individuals affected by pickleball noise, providing resources and strategies to mitigate its impact.
How did Pickleball Noise Relief start?
The initiative was launched in June 2023 by Rob Mastroianni who created a Facebook group to connect with others experiencing similar issues. Nalini Lasiewicz joined as an administrator, and together they have worked to build a supportive community and advocate for change.
What is the goal of Pickleball Noise Relief?
Our primary goal is to raise awareness about the negative impact of pickleball noise on communities and to advocate for policies that promote responsible and considerate play. We aim to:
Share resources and strategies to influence public policies related to pickleball noise
Grow our network of individuals affected by pickleball noise
Promote community-sensitive access to public spaces
How can I get involved?
You can join our Facebook group, offer to volunteer with our team, or join our Email list to get updates on our ongoing efforts. You can also reach out to us directly with your concerns or questions.
What's ahead for Pickleball Noise Relief
The active participation of our community members have alread made significant strides in focusing public attention on the growing issue of pickleball noise.
But our work is far from over.....
As the number of pickleball courts continues to soar, so does the need for research into the potential health impacts of chronic noise exposure. Your support is essential to fuel this important work.
By supporting our fundraising efforts you will help us:
Fund research grants: Empower students and researchers to investigate the effects of pickleball noise on human health.
Support our Advisory Group: Enable our experts to share their knowledge and advocate for change at national conferences and events.
Join us in creating a quieter future. Together, we can protect our communities and ensure that pickleball can be enjoyed responsibly.
We are a 100% volunteer effort, but there are expenses in moving forward with effective campaigns. We appreciate donations of any amount!
Thank your for supporting our noise control projects. All donations are tax deductible. EIN# 95-4462262
