Pickleball Noise Relief is a grassroots support network dedicated to addressing the issue of excessive noise from pickleball courts. We aim to inform, educate, and empower individuals affected by pickleball noise, providing resources and strategies to mitigate its impact.
The co-founders' journeys started in local grassroots advocacy—Nalini’s 1.5-year campaign opposing the Glenhaven Park, La Cañada Flintridge, CA pilot starting in April 2021, and Rob’s complaint against the Falmouth, MA Zoning Board of Appeals in January 2022.
In June 2023 Rob created a Facebook group to connect with others experiencing similar issues. Nalini joined as an administrator. Together they have worked to build a supportive community, a committed team of volunteers, and a network of impacted residents all working as advocates for change.
In 2024, the Robert and Nalini Lasiewicz Foundation, a California based 501(c)(3), launched a noise control program to create national awareness of the issue and fund free public advocacy deliverables, technical assistance and organizational support to the PRN community.
